The Office of Indigenous Education and NITEP in the Faculty of Education wishes to extend heartfelt congratulations to Professor Emerita and former NITEP Director Dr. Thelma Cook in receiving the 2019 Faculty of Education Alumni Builder Award for her persistent efforts to make studying at UBC more accessible to Indigenous students.
